Thanks so much to everyone for their reviews and helps in finding great led strips. I especially would like them for my antique Singer machines that I collect, plus some of just slightly older ones with only an incandescent bulb. I did finally find out that the clear sewing feet- especially the 1/4” ones did not help me at all - got shadows that confused my wacky eyes (yes, they are truly wacky!!!). So I stick with the metal ones. I definitely will be checking all the different links. The ones from Insight are inly $30.

I have seen this advertised and was wondering if it would work on a computerized SM? I have a Janome 6600MC. Thank you for any information

The LED strips being discussed in this thread can work on any sewing machine. The LED strips have adhesive on the back and use that to attach to your sewing machine. Most (all?) have a cord that plugs into a standard outlet for power. The Razon strip that I use has a USB connector, so you can plug it devices (your sewing machine?) that have that connection. Personally, I just plug into a standard wall outlet.
