My mother married in 1950 and had a beautiful dress. I took the train off the dress when I altered it in 1984 for my sister to wear at her wedding. I had the train cleaned (lots of fabric) and am now planning on making a Christening dress for the soon to be born great grandaughter. I hope mine turns out as well as yours.

Lily is beautiful and so is her baptismal outfit. You did a wonderful job on it. Such a treasure!

Beautiful children and a beautiful dress. Don't blink - before you know it, you'll be making her prom dress :)
