Default Long Lost Fabric

Wow! did I receive a surprise today. A package of 3 layer Cake fabric packages that I ordered well over a year ago. Fed Ex knocked at my door and ask , " Is this you?" My address was off by one number, the last one. The company replaced one package of the fabric a few months ago and said it would be a wait and see if the others arrived. How excited I am to even get them. The good thing is I was not billed for them because of the problem. My $$ was taken off my credit card a very long time ago. I was told then if it ever showed up I could just keep them. Well today the unexpected happened! I plan on having a lot of fun with them. This is exciting.

How cool is that? It's like a little unexpected Christmas present.

Wow! I'm gobsmacked! I had similar thing with a book from C & T Publishing and they were so nice. Don't you just wonder where it's been roaming for months?

I wonder too what stories all those packages and letters could tell! When I got married I was really surprised that I never heard back from a couple I had been extremely close to in college. 3 years later I received a package from them, with a gift, an apology and a copy of the invitation envelope, with so many notes, changes, etc. The invite only had to go 5 miles, but first traveled to NM, instead of MN, and who knows where in between! There was a return address on it also!

What a wonderful surprise indeed. What are the odds? I’m glad you finally got them. I think the postal service is still having trouble with deliveries...I have heard folks still getting Christmas cards that were postmarked in December.

That is a great surprise and it probably just like going to the LQS and purchasing fabric. A great feeling I am sure.
