I need to cover a small album for a friend & she wants a 50's print on it. The album is of her & her husband's life together, having been married during then. So no rock & roll & frilly type prints will work. She's very down to earth and practical. I know this is a tall order, but wanted to give it a try. I don't have a whole lot of time to search the web with work & all, so thought I would ask on here. At least maybe get some suggestions of what kind of prints to look for, especially since this is just a day or two before my time. :)

Thank you so much for reading & for any help.
Faith

Darn! I saw some Fun with Dick & Jane fabric at a garage sale yesterday...that might have been fun. Check fabric.com & fabricdepot.com; I think I saw some retro fabric on sale there.

Wow, thank you so much! I knew you ladies would pull thru for me. I can't thank you enough! Now I just need to chat with my friend and she what she thinks. She was married in the 50's and her daughter put together a lovely scrapbook of her married years. I know her husband has been gone for quite a while, so this is gonna be a special treasure for her. I was honored to be asked to help. Thank you again ladies!! I truly appreciate your help.
