I live in Southeast Missouri and my friend and I are wanting to do some sewing charity work. We want to make the turbans for cancer patients, pillowcases, baby blankets, etc. But out town is really small and not charities to work with. Just wondering how to go about finding something to do.

Thanks for all help.

For cancer patients you might contact your closest Hospital or the hospital that treats cancer patients in your area. You might check online for the pillow cases charity, and there are a few groups that give children's blankets -the two I have heard of are Project Linus and Binky ( might be Binky patrol) I'm sure if you do an online search you can find links to check for closest ones in your area.
