Default Looking for a rug pattern

This is probably the wrong section to post this in and I will probably get in trouble...but here goes. I'm looking for a pattern, hopefully somewhere on the web, that uses polyester fabrics to make a rug. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm not able to work anymore (for now) and have no income so I'm hoping that someone will know where to find a working link on the web somewhere.

Thank you in advance for everyone's help.

I did this google search and came with with a few sites featuring Rag rugs with tutorials. I have never made one, but these may be of help to you. Just copy and paste this link to get you there.

Here's one using 2 inch squares: http://steelscraps.blogspot.com/2010...2-squares.html

Here's another that is for braided ones and you can use polyester knit: http://vintagechica.typepad.com/the_...g_tutoria.html

Hope these are what you wanted! HUGS, Julie

Way back, like in the 1980's I made several using this method and double knit polyester squares. they are great rungs but do not work well for bathmats as they don't absorb the water

I don't have a link but in either countryside magazine or backwoods home magazine there are directions on crocheting rugs with fabric. You cut the fabric in about 1" strips cutting up to about 1/2 inch on the edge of the fabric then moving over 2 inches and cut down to the other side. When you get done you have a long 1" wide strip and they you roll them in a ball and single crochet in either ovals or circles or squares or rectangles. You might search the sites for those magazines and they may have better directions than I can give you. If i can figure how to post a picture I will post a picture of my sisters rug she made this way with flannel.

I can't figure out how to post.
