Does anyone watch the Norfolk eagle cam? It was just announced that the mother of the eaglets was killed by a plane this morning. She was carrying a fish to the babies and was struck at the airport. They will monitor the babies to make sure they are doing okay with just Dad. I watch the Decorah eagle cam too. I love to see these beautiful birds.

Oh no! I watched the cams last year, but haven't this year (it was very time consuming watching all those cams last year!).

I'm so sorry to hear this but also happy to hear that someone is going to monitor the babies. It's probably not a good idea for humans to feed them, but I hope they survive.

No I don't watch the live cams. Sorry the Eagle died, and sure hope the father steps up.

That is really sad. We all were so excited to watch them hatch and now this. I sure hope dad can handle it.

This is truly so sad, I watched the cams a few years back and they were amazing. I think the father will take care of them.
