'Tis the season! I could get a lot more sewing done if I didn't have to spend so much time looking for things I have misplaced these days....my mother used to tell me to get my head on straight, but so far, no luck! Glad you found them, especially the screw driver, when you get a good one you like, there is no other....

My DH laughs at me all the time and says every day must be like Christmas to me because I keep finding things I didn't know I had.

Best way to find something is to replace it!

I found scissors yesterday that I had not seen in months. Of course, they were right where I put them

At our house, things usually disappear with the 'assistance' of the tuxedo cats. My husband has a pocket knife that was a gift when he was a teenager (50+ years ago) and he lost it someplace. He looked all over retracing his steps at the condo, in the car, in the garage, on the deck (feeding the birds!), even asked the staff at the Big Boy where he has breakfast every morning after I leave for work if they would watch for it. But it never turned up until one day weeks later, Jake walked past him in the bedroom with the (big) knife in his mouth. So far they've pilfered car keys, change, DH's inhaler for his asthma, jewelry, toothbrushes, etc. Jake takes things more often than Elwood, though Elwood likes change and is always happy to shred anything made of paper, especially if it has a picture of a president on it.
