I was reading through some of the boomerang posts and came across the word "sewer" and I got the giggles. At first I thought I misread the word. A little ADHD will do that to you. Anyway, is it just me, or is a "sewer" someone who sews OR is a sewer something that disposes of waste water and has rats living in it?

I know, I know... my mind is a very scary place.

On house cleaning days 'sewer'. On fun days 'sewer' using sewing maching. Which ever job fits the day.
Thanks for the laugh

There are so many words like that. If you get them wrong they can be so funny.

That is why many prefer to call themselves "sewists"(they say pianist, artist )...which I personally hate lol. To each his own.

Well, I haven't heard the word seamstress in a long time.
Why doesn't anyone use that term anymore? Not to leave out the guys, seamster...
