That egg dish sounds good. Will have to try it.
All the different dieting info gets so confusing. With WW they promote using FF cheese and FF salad dressing and some other things I can't think of right now. On The Doctors they said never to use FF cheese and FF salad dressing and probably the other things too. Who are you supposed to listen to?
I need to buy a new cars seat for Allie. Boy is that confusing. So many to choose from. I have 30% off at Kohl's so thought I would order online. Went on Amazon to read reviews to help figure out what to buy. Ugh! So many different opinions. You can spend anywhere between $39 and $420. That's a big difference!

My dear MIL became ill and passed suddenly last week. Needless to say, I'm not paying any attention on what I'm eating, just that we all have food. My family has been great, bringing us meals and offers of help. I'll get back to normal after the service on Friday. I've missed two weeks at yoga and feel my back stiffening up. Need to get back to that as well as the gym.

Sorry to hear about your MIL, Cindy. Have you ever thought about getting a yoga dvd and doing it from home? I know it wouldn't be as good as doing it with an instructor but at least you could do it whenever you want. I bought one at Aldi's for $4 and it is pretty good. I am hoping if I do this on a regular basis I can lessen my need for massages and chiropractic visits.

Sorry to hear about your MIL Cindy, sending you lots of hugs.

Well my view outside has turned white again, sigh. Winter seems so long this year and it isn't even done yet. I really want to get outside and walk, but not while it is icy. Walking seems to be the only exercise I stick with very well, but not this winter.

I hope ya'll don't mind if I make a quick plug for a swap on the board: http://www.quiltingboard.com/member-...t-t241997.html
luv does these swaps every month with a different theme and they are a lot of fun. Okay, back to your regular programming.

Cindy so sorry to hear about your MIL. Sending hugs and prayers your way. Laurijo I agree I have no idea any more what is supposed to be healthy and what isn't. I know on some things when you take out the fat they are often replaced with sugars. I actually prefer some FF things to the real thing. We actually like FF sour cream and half and half better and some others too. Some are just gross.
I spent 2 hours in meetings after school today discussing one of my students. I am pretty sure he will be suspended for 3 days. He told someone he was going to kill her mom and grandma yesterday While serving his recess and lunch detention he was awful. The principal chewed him out again. He was sent back to class and was awful again. He looks at you and grins then does something he knows is wrong. The principal hesitates to suspend him because that means he will probably spend the next 3 days at dads where there aren't any rules at all.
The weather here is crazy. It was 72 degrees yesterday. Today it is snowing and tomorrow morning it is supposed to be 10. No wonder my sinuses hurt.
We are going to do the biggest loser at work. I had better start behaving. Besides I want the batiks!

I didn't even get dressed today, I knew I wasn't going anywhere. With my balance issues I worry a lot about falling. Especially since when I fall I tend to break things. I actually sent DS's friend out to check the mail when he arrived because I thought there might be batiks in my mailbox. And there were! The layer cake swap last month was batiks, so I received a lovely pile (but would love to add those FQs to the pile)!

I am convinced that the best eating habit for our health is too avoid the processed stuff as much as possible. So I don't eat any diet foods, or low-fat or fat-free. I think it is much healthier to just eat less of the real stuff. I don't always have the willpower to eat small enough portions, but I still feel that is better than eating the fake stuff. Since I also have to eat gluten free my diet is now mostly real basic food. Now to get those portion sizes under control.

Pat doesn't it seem crazy to send the kids home for suspension. That's usually where they learned all their bad behaviour in the first place. Too bad there isn't a good way to do in-school suspension so the kids would be in a controlled environment instead of at home playing video games. I was so fortunate when I worked at my son's elementary school, none of the kids I worked with were poorly behaved. But then I wasn't in the regular classroom. I was running the reading mentoring program so we were working one-on-one and the kids loved the attention.

My condolences, Cindy. Unexpected passings are difficult. Hugs and prayers for you and your family.

I don't do fat free, but prefer low fat to whole fat with the exception of butter - leave my butter alone.

Thanks for all the support, everyone. We have two sessions of viewing/wake today. My husband's family is large, so it can still be a bit overwhelming for me, but they've really done a nice job of supporting each other and working together to make all the arrangements. Having said that, I have NOT been paying attention to what I'm eating at all. Once everything is over I'll get back on the wagon.

Pam, yes, I've thought about getting a yoga dvd. I'll have to do a lot more than think about it, though. Right now my back is quite sore but I'm so unmotivated I probably won't get down in the floor and stretch. I just put a pot of coffee on. Maybe after I wake up I'll be more responsible and do it. I took today and tomorrow off work. They're going to be long days so I really should stretch out now while I have the chance.

My son is going for a run. It's cold and windy here. It was so windy overnight I thought the house was going to blow over!!

Cindy I am in the same place in that I've thought about a yoga dvd. In our small house I would have to rearrange furniture to be able to do any kind of exercise in front of the tv. Actually I might have to get rid of furniture!
