meanmom, 16,000 steps is awesome! I think I MAY have done that once. It is a super challenge for me to get 15,000 - and that is with a 10 miles bike ride.

Sadly my grands are 5 hours away, but comes in handy for these kinds of celebrations to keep me from buying for them. I just send money to my daughter and tell her to use it from me.

Robins eggs are my big weakness!

A very happy Easter to everyone!

I am having a hard time staying out of the candy bowl. I have had 3 truffles so far. I haven't even had Easter dinner yet. I made a huge trifle for dessert. Not sure I even want to figure out the calorie count of it.

Hey all. I don't know if I mentioned my mother in law gave me a "new" sewing machine. Its a Janome model # L-392. I think its pretty neat! I am in the process of making a sewing machine cover for it but am not interested in the next step, which is pressing...Hope everyone had a great Easter!

It is almost the end of the month. WOW where did the time go. Time to start signing up for next month. http://www.quiltingboard.com/general...a-t277212.html.
If i am going to win the purple FQ I guess I can't eat or drink anything for the next few days.

I did have weight loss this month but it was small. I'm glad it wasn't a gain though. Go me!

Good for you J!
I sure didn't lose this month. I seem to be gaining about 2 lbs per month. Time for me to get back on my diet and get rid of the sugar again. I love the polka dot theme for April. I want them! Who's going to be in the battle with me for the polka dots?

We went to a Chinese buffet for dinner tonight. I try to take mostly veggies. I even had a salad. I limit the fried food - had 1 piece of sweet and sour chicken but I did have to have 2 pieces of crab rangoon. That's my favorite! I only eat the yummy center part though and leave the rest on my plate.
I'm watching the Badgers play Notre Dame tonight. Close game. Ooh, it's just down to seconds and the Badgers are ahead by 1. Gotta go!
Boo! How the heck did the Badgers end up losing by 5 points?
It seems to be helping me and I contribute part of my weight loss to going through the change. I heard of one other woman that lost weight. Now to keep it off. I hit my goal weight for several days and suddenly it was up by 4 lb. today I am 2 lbs over goal weight.
