Yes...they are very good! I have not read the newest, yet, though. I am trying not to do so much reading till after the holidays. This time of year is very hectic for me.

I actually got to meet her at a local quilt show last month - I purchased 2 of her books and got them autographed! Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to start reading them yet, but when I was waiting for her to sign my books, there were several other women in line who were RAVING about how great the books are! I'm looking forward to reading them!

i picked up the fourth book in the series from the new shelf at the library. I enjoyed it. Reminded me of the Elm Creek series. So many simularities.

I have book one waiting for me and will now read in order.

Another author that I like, that always mentions quilting, is Sandra Dallas.

But do NOT start with Buster Midnights Cafe. I am afraid if you read that you will not like her. It is ok to read it after you learn to love her books.

Persian Pickle Club (they called Paisley pattern that in the 30's), Alices tulips, Diary of Maddie Spenser, and New Mercies are all great.

Her books are all stand alone, no reading in order necessary.

I just put in a request with my library system for the audiobook (on CD)
sadly though not all of her books are available on cd (will have to set up ILL).

Looking forward to getting them and listening to something other than
my typical murder/mystery/thriller types LOL.

Marie's Books are excellent to read and a bit cheaper to buy than Jennifers...
