Default 1,340 kids see 99 handcranks.

For earth day last week, GF, Iris, and Chrisquilts and I took 4 Singer 99s to let the thundeing hoards make some bookmarks. Lots of teachers/sponsors gave them a spin also. We had a spare machine just in case. Didn't need it. ran out of a couple of bobbins... great fun

That's great, leon.
When my boys were little they all learned to use my sewing machine. Kids and machines seem to
go together! They were fascinated and I taught them how to use it.
My youngest son made all kinds of wild pants in high school. They were hilarious and the kids
all thought he was crazy cool!!

Well, I don't know about the kids or the adults with them but I had a great time. I love doing things like this and enjoy seeing the kiddos faces as they realize they're both sewing and using a power tool. The adults who ply with them have the same look on their faces, too. A great way to spend a day having fun with your hobby. FYI: Both Leon & Iris are also fabulous.
