I'm getting ready to start making some fall/halloween themed masks. I'm planning to use the 3D pattern but want better elastic. I was going to get the precut ties but they're all a bit short for using in a casing so I need to find the full lengths of elastic, but not flat elastic. I saw some round but it's about 1/8" and I want more like 1/4" wide and round, not flat. Soft so it doesn't hurt the ears.. Anyone know of which elastic cord would be like this (preferably at amazon).

I’m pretty sure that Amazon has both 1/4” and 1/8” round elastic - but forgot to get the link. I have also seen lots of cord stops which I’m thinking of trying - it’s really hard to get the elastic just the right length and it becomes so fiddley, I get exasperated when sewing.

I have two longstanding accounts on Ebay and got a $25 off coupon on each one. Couldn't think of anything else I needed, so I bought 400 yds of round elastic for my local group.

I just bought the elastic with the adjustable beads on Amazon. They are 5.00 off today. I got 100 for less than 10 bucks.

I ended up buying this. I would love the convenience of precut but they are all shorter than I'd like. I'll try pony beads for adjusters but if they don't work there are silicone adjusters on amazon.
