Wow Pam that workout sounds ambitious, it should really help you get in shape. We have Time Warner cable, but when the merger goes through we will have Charter. I hope they aren't worse than TWC. I started doing the spring hikes yesterday with my son and I'm just starting to recover. Went down the gorge to the dam and it's a heck of a staircase. You can't really see it very well, but this might give you an idea of the scale.

Pam H Yes i received your FQ.I forgot to post it. Lauriejo that looks like a beautiful hike. No way I could do that right now. With my current knee issues it is difficult enough getting up to my sewing room. Looks like a good place for a hike. Hope you enjoy all of them.

That looks like a great place for a hike. I could go for that!
Yes, the workout I posted is very ambitious. So far I am doing ok. When it gets toward the end you are supposed to do the circuit training twice in a day. I don't see myself doing that! Those workouts are killer although you can do them at your own pace so that helps.
I have had TWC, ATT and Charter. Charter has changed a lot over the years and I think maybe we are not using everything that is available. I liked ATT that you could set up recordings on your computer; probably from a smartphone too. That feature might be available now with Charter. Seems like I saw something in an email. We've had Charter for probably 20 years. It's the only one available in our area. We had the others when we were in Texas.

Lauriejo, that scenery is beautiful. We have to drive far and wide here in the flat lands of Katy, TX to find scenery like that. The temperature is starting to rise here making outside activities a little less appealing. It's one of the reasons we hope to resettle in MN before too long.
Wish me luck this weekend everyone. I am trying very hard to stay on plan. We have several family commitments that require restaurant eating and unfortunately it is not the type that I can order by myself from the menu. I started the morning with a protein shake which is pretty filling and I managed to bow out gracefully from the Mexican dinner last night and the Barbeque dinner this evening but I have no choice on this afternoons and tomorrow's luncheons. It took so long to get my eating habits back on track and I don't want to falter now. It takes too long for me to get my willpower back. Perhaps if I keep reminding myself I have two doctor's appointments on Monday that will help to keep me in check.

Good afternoon ladies, it sounds like we have some good momentum going which is motivation for all of us!

One of my biggest stumbling blocks is letting myself get too hungry and then I want to binge to get that 'hungry' gone.
I keep a quart zip lock with big peeled carrots in it, you know you are chewing on something!

I think I'm down a few pounds, I can get the button snapped on this pair of pants
Onward and downward, ladies!

I picked up my sewing machine from the shop today. I am so glad to get it back. It has been 3 weeks. My backup machine just isn't very nice. It makes me appreciate the good one.
I need to write up a tutorial on paper piecing for Tuesdays guild meeting. I just can't seem to get in the mood. I have several I found online. I don't really like any of them. I am going to take bits and pieces from each of them and hopefully make a good one.
I start my detox on Monday. It is also supposed to help with inflammation. Hopefully it will help. The nutritionist will recommend a plan to continue on based on how I do with this plan and also my opinion of it. I will hopefully have a plan I can work with.

Terrible week! Fatigue has set in and all I want to do is sleep. 12 hour nights or long naps and then can't sleep (like now). DH thought he was doing me a favor and made me a banana split ---how could I refuse?
Anyway, Happy Mothers Day to those that are blessed. As for me, I will probably drown my sorrows of not being blessed with a diet coke or Chai Latte!
Fingers crossed for a better week this coming week - yikes it is my BD and I know I will have at least 3 BD cakes. What is a gal to do?
Am looking for recipes for good shakes - anyone have some?

Hi all, just wanted to pop in and wish everyone a happy Mothers Day! Also to wish everyone good luck with their diets today, I know it will be very hard for some of us, me included. Get through it as best you can, tomorrow is another day. (((((HUGS)))))
