I paid 50.00 for my treadle last year in very good condition. I did need to buy a belt. I got one off Ebay for less than 10.00.

DeeDee: Just remember today is another day - the first day of the rest of your life. Start over and don't beat yourself up over yesterday.

Missy - one small piece of cake probably isn't going to hurt you. Speaking from expierence though after my stomach stapling I still counldn't go back to eating the way I did pre-surgery. I had to measure my food and stay away from high calorie and surgery foods. When I went back to my old eating habits I gained weight back and alot of it. Good luck to you. My prayers are with you.
Thank you so muh! I think that it will all be fine. I just have to try and not listen to that ugly voice in my head that likes to say that I have messed everything up. I hope you have a good day! :)

Missy, you are strong and a woman that many of us are watching for inspiration! We believe in you.

Did too much yesterday, paid for it all night but DH isn't going to ride bikes to the gym for 30 minutes of elliptical without me, so I have to push through it. My weight has not budged in 2 days, yet my undies are getting looser. I would love to be under 150 - my first goal. My knees will thank me for it. Will be on the phone with Blue Cross tomorrow for answers on treatment denials. Bout ready to shoot someone.

Thank you so much Lynne!

I hope you are not too sore after your workout today. Oh how i understand how yucky it is to deal with insurance companies! Hang in there and stand your ground. You are doing great!

Good Morning All,

Missy, I'm agreeing with everyone else, that small of a dab of cake will not cause you to gain everything back. You're doing awesome.

I upped my walk to 5 miles today. Went a different route. Peaceful, no dogs, hardly any traffic, but kinda boring. This is my last week of walking as I don't feel comfortable leaving the girls alone in the house for that long of a time. I'm sure they'd be okay, but I still won't do it. So, I might make them go on a short walk with me or if I can get some bikes, we can do that. Until then, I'll be back to using my elliptical machine.

I am aiming to get my sewing room back under control and usable today. I have a list of projects I need to sew. (not to mention quilting!) Plus I need to sort, edit and stamp the photos I took yesterday so I can get the proofs to the kids' mother. From what I looked at, they turned out pretty good, even with the lack of sunshine.

Yay! another pound off this morning, so maybe I was losing weight all along but also retaining water too. I need to remember this in the future and not get dicouraged so quickly. It is amazing how much less you are tempted to eat when you are losing.

Today is going to be a challenge. I have a baby shower to go to for my niece. And my sweet MIL will be there. :( It is always an adventure to see who her victim for the day will be. Hopefully she will be too busy hating my nieces new in laws to target me! LOL And my hubby always wants to go out for dinner on Sundays so that is 2 challenges in one day but I am so happy to be losing again that it shouldn't be much of a temptaion.

I hope every one has a good day today. The sun is shining here today. I haven't even touched my gardens yet this year. It has been too wet. If I don't get out there tomorrow I will have weeds a foot tall.

Good morning! We've had storms, no electricity, internet in and out (when we had electrical), so I've had an exciting weekend.

Today's thought:

Meditation or centering prayer. Find a spot to yourself for 5 minutes. light a candle, and focus on the flame. Allow yourself to be drawn into the beauty. Now focus. What is your heart's desire today? Peace? serenity? quiet? will power? weight loss?

Allow yourself to visualize the concept. Go over in your mind what it will look like, and feel like. Now close your eyes and blow out the candle. Refreshed?

Good morning everyone. Like all of you I have had weight problems all my life. Lost it and gained it several times.Joined WW. 6 months ago and have managed to drop 40 lbs. Now struggling to lose another 15-20 lbs. I am almost 60 and feeling really saggy."My new body" Reminded me this morning of the deflated roll dough(for my husband) I made last weekend when I Looked in the mirror. My hardest time is the evenings after dinner.I seem to just be obsessed about what I need to eat. I work all day and do great.Take only what I can eat;so there's no temptation. At times when I Feel stressed I eat anything that doesn't move faster than me.And would bite/bodily injury anyone who tries to take the food away. Would like to join your group and join the contest.I am a NIDDM/Nurse and I just can't gain my weight back because my feet and legs can't support the extra wt.
