Oh, those must be "magic" mushrooms on that fabric and everyone is feeling light-headed, to charge or pay a price like that. ROFL

It is a vintage TYPE fabric as the seller said....just like reproduction type fabrics. It was a very popular fabric many, many years ago. Can't remember when but do remember those mushrooms. People bidding must remember it from their youth and want to create a memory that made them happy.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. We all have our likes and dislikes. We all pay more or less for something we really want. So it is really not surprising to me that there are people willing to pay for that fabric. Just like anything else if someone wants something bad enough and they haven't seen or found it and now have to chance to get it they will pay whatever they want.

I think the bidders have a gambling problem. All it takes is two people who don't want to lose. They will go crazy bidding against each other. That's my opinion.

Started at $1.79 I bet the seller is looking in their stash for more of this fabric. It's up to $ 96.00 with a little over 12 hours left. I myself can't think of any fabric I would be willing to pay that much for 2 yards. Try explaning that to hubby!

This type fabric was popular in the 70's. Not my style...then or now.
