Default Meet Rusty, my new "pet"!

One of the reasons I enjoy getting a bit of cash for Christmas! She is 33" tall and there she was in the grocery store all alone between other orchids. Thought I heard a whine...

She or he is so pretty. Surely you need 2 green thumbs to keep it blooming!

I use the beneficial neglect care method! Now all my orchids bloom annually and some twice a year!

So pretty. I was given a Pregnant Onion plant for Christmas. I have no idea why, I tend to kill every plant I touch. It is in a pretty pot so it's on my kitchen window sill. The plant is suppose to pop out baby plants and they sprout and grow and pop out more.

What a gorgeous "pet"! Talk to her nicely (she's a great listener) and she will thrive.

Kitsi- Your "neglect care" method works well with orchids. My daughter always has beautiful orchids and hers are beautiful (not as giant as yours). She says only water once in a while. With our winters we don't get a lot of sun, and I guess they like that too.

Beautiful pet plant. Love orchids but they tend to only last a few years before dieing.
