Mine is because when I retired I planned to be constantly quilting and my nickname was already Candy, so Quiltingcandy just seemed to be the right right handle.

Poco and Ellie were two of my favorite horses. I truly miss both of them.

I lived in Oregon most of my life with a career in Human Resources that left me no time, or frankly desire, to sew or do any crafts at all. When my husband transferred his job to the Phoenix area the economy was down, so I wasn't able to find a job that quickly so went back to my love of sewing to fill my time - or Cactus Stitchin.

I'm living in the country & love it. Sass because as I get older I'm getting more sassy to the dismay of some inlaws. And 2012 for the year I joined this board. My 'real' name is Vickie. Fun post.
