Or Loretta Lynn in the Crisco commercials. "Crisco will do you proud everytime!"

Ajax, boom boom, the foaming cleanser, bud- a boom boom boom,
Cleans the dirt,
Right down the drain.

Humble became Enco, then Enco became Exxon. Put a tiger in your tank. Or Esso, depending on your state. ALL became EXXON.

what about the singing raisins dancing to "I heard it thru the grapevine".......not sure what they were advertising? Raisin Bran?

I seem to remember a commercial for Philip Morris (cigarrettes?) - the guy with a bellboy hat carrying a big box on a sling ....calling "..........last call for Philip Morris"....I just can't remember the words...

Plop-plop, fizz-fizz, oh what a relief it is! (Alka Seltzer)

Can't remember the "right words"
......When you want shoes with lots of pep...get Keds-Kids-Keds,
for bounce and zoom with every step...get Keds-Kids-Keds,

Timex......takes a licking and keeps on ticking!

I think the commercials of old had catchier tunes that we inadvertently learned the words to.....nowadays, I'm not quite sure what they are advertising for?!? HA!

I think the singing raisins was for SunKist or SunMaid raisins.

Yual Givens for Post Grape Nuts......Its crunchy taste reminds me of wild hickory nuts.

I like listening to old time radio programs. My favorite show is with Jack Benny and for years his show started with the Jello jingle, then Benny would say, "Jello again, this Jack Benny speaking."

Later, Lucky Strikes was Benny's sponsor. I remember their L.S.M.F.T. TV commercials when I was young. Of course, as young boys, we had other words for those letters, which I'm too polite to mention on here.

Does anyone else remember the episode of MASH when a general pointed to his collar and asked Hawkeye if he knew what that star meant? Hawkeye replied, "I can trust my car with you?"
