The tree is up and my decorations are up. Trying really hard this year with Christmas music on to keep my spirits up. I don’t know if we will be able to have our children come home this year but if not we will face time.

Same to you and everyone. This year is definitely different. I'm doing the same as Tartan.

Same to you Motley and everyone here on the quilting board. I have decorated the house more than ever just to keep my spirits up but it is just my husband and myself to enjoy it. We will get thru this!!!

Thank you. A merry Christmas to you all too. Everything is decorated, sewn, cleaned and all the presents are wrapped and ready to deliver. Some were mailed off to back east, the day we mailed off the cards. I just need to do a day's worth of baking to complete our gifts. I already made apple butter, cherry jam and blackberry jelly a couple or three weeks ago. The bourbon balls are in the refrigerator all made and tinned. I am making an apple walnut cake for hubby's pot luck at work. I tried out the recipe I got from watching Utube. "Italian Grandma makes apple walnut cake" , in case anyone is interested in the recipe. It needs a day or two in the refrigerator to come to full flavor if you ask me. But, it is wonderful!
I feel I am keeping up really well this year. I suppose that is because I am stuck in this house since march.

Merry Christmas to all.
I've had my Christmas all year.
I've been blessed my family world didn't change. Grands still come over, we have family meals together, went camping for vacations, go to Mass together, went to grand daughters college graduation last week. Life is still out there and so is hope and good cheer.

We will have our usual Christmas Eve celebration with family and friends. Holidays only come once a year and we aren't about to miss out.

Merry Christmas to all.
