Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone, this is Mary (the spellingi s only marginally betterr  )

It's almost 8pm here now, and the boys are FAST asleep. I think they have certainly enjoyed their birthday (apart from the hoovering). Kitchen is asleep in a cardboard box and Satchmo is asleep in a small space under the tv cabinet. I can hear him snoring!

I love my boys to death, they have been such a comfort in the last year when I have had some tough times, they certainly deserved to be spoilt today.

Hope you have all had a good weekend x

Thanks Loretta! It's twenty to ten here in the UK now. The boys don't know it but they are going to have their favorite treat to finish the day...they get to sleep on the bed with me tonight. They are usually confined to the kitchen at night due to their general energetic and noisy night time escapades, but tonight I am willing to put up with it, as it is a special day, and they LOVE sleeping on the bed with me. I just wish they would sleep all night instead of waking and playing at 4am. But hey, I'm a sucker for 'em!

Mr. Bean and Monty send their best. Mr. Bean wants to know if he should send you one of his hunting successes and what do you want? Choices are rabbit, duck, gopher, mouse, rat, pigeon or black bird. He would recommend the rat - they have a lot of meat on them and make a decent birthday meal.

Mmmmm K&S say RAT please? Not sure how UK customs would cope with THAT package though!

De-clawing is unheard of over here, cat owners here don't do it.

My boys are indoor cats, and I clip their claws regularly, so they are 'play safe'!

Nemo, from Roscoe Illinois sends Happy Birthday wishes and in return would like a tiny bit of chicken. Or whatever else might land on the floor.
