Smile The Milk Carton Kids

I heard their music for the first time today on the CBS mornjng show here and had to go online and purchase the album. These two young men make such beautiful music. Just vocals and acoustic guitar. Sort of a meshing of softer Simon & Garfunkle, Ottmar Liebert (guitar) and a bit of bluegrass. I guess some would call it Christian music, but it appealed to me and I'm not of a Christian faith, so it seems to cross all lines. The music is simply soothing and peaceful; wonderful to put on while sewing. I just wanted to share something beautiful with my quilting sisters and brothers. :-)

I had never heard of them before but after a quick google search, I am adding them to my iTunes ! Thanks for sharing! I really like Indie music groups and I grew up on blue grass music; I always think of my dad when I hear it.

Very Simon & Garfunkel with a hint of blue grass. Nice, mellow music (from what I listened to, so far).
