Our largest hermit crab, Krusty, is missing! They stay in a bowl on top of the mantle, which is about 5 feet high! They've gotten out before. He's been gone a maximum of 3 days. :(

Have you seen me?

Did you know that those critters can live for YEARS without being fed???
I heard of someone finding out the hard way, when their "shell collection" in storage um....migrated and they found them many months later..lol.

I hope you find him! I would think with that color shell he'd be fairly easy to spot.

When we had ours and "lost" one. It got out, then shedded it's shell. We found it under the couch. Not a GOOD sight!

He is probably hidding somewhere molting. They like a very quiet place to do that. Mine dissapeared once and I found him in the middle of an air mattress right in the middle of molting. I left him right where he was and he came out 10 days later all changed.

Good luck to you.
