Wonderful story, what a good hearted dog.

Do you think somewhere there is a quilter that feels bad because the quilt she lovingly made for someone has become a pet bed?

I agree with everyone. Animals can be kinder to others than alot of humans. That Dog is an amazing Mommy to those beautiful Kitties.

I would assume the quilt belongs to the Dog's owner.

My friend made a quilt just for my cat and I would give up a couple for a mother and kittens or puppies. I always figure a quilt can always be made again but a kitten/puppy is special. Got to keep them warm and what better than a quilt.
