That's exactly my experience, SBG. Not worth it to me to be honest.

I don't do J's sales very often. When they switched to the "today only" or "good till Friday ads". I kind of quit going. I don't run there to use a coupon. But, if there is something I need like cookie sheets or rotary blades, I will go online and print a coupon to take in.

I don't need anything I and there is nothing on sale I want. The last item I wanted was the lighted cutting mat and I bought that when QIAD had them the lowest price I've seen a few weeks ago. In with the new out with the old.

sewbizgirl, I get the flyer and it says 20 percent off of your entire order and then try to do that. It does not work. I am tired of their tricks also. I ordered some things from Quilt n a day and it is on it's way.

I too looked over the flyer, perused the coupons, and couldn't find anything I couldn't live without.😳 And since the nearest Joann's is an hour from me, their flyer or coupons couldn't convince me.
i do watch their fliers and coupons though, I do order online batting by the roll when the sales/coupons line up just right and it's a deal I just can't pass on.

Since Covid, I do not visit their store but like the cheap or free shipping.

Lynnie, I sympathize with you regarding all the flyers. Mom who passed away 5 years ago still gets them and she never used them. And my husband who can sew on a button but that's it gets flyers too. Tried to get Mom off the list but never happened. Nothing in my name.

I just used a 60% off to buy several yards of extra wide bleached muslin via curbside so I am back in business with backing fabric. It’s funny I used to take myself and my coupons into Joann’s whenever I finished a quilt and pick what I considered “fun” batting. My new way is easier if nothing else!

The next good coupon will buy batting.....I have a price point and buy that when my cart hits that number.
