    More Thrift Store Recycle Projects

I made these aprons from a shirt and a dress which were given to me by a lady who is closing her thrift store. I have several to make to take to a craft show in April. I think the white one needs some trim around the collar, you think? I have more styles I am going to try.

Neat! I agree with putting a bit more trim on the collar of the white one. Maybe a colourful bowtie? You are really creative.

I've been making aprons too, but I'm not as creative as you. Good job!!
A fabric stash is always missing that one fabric needed to finish the quilt on which you're working.

Those are so neat! I love the first one, such pretty fabric and design. And the shirt apron is great too--saw some directions in a couple of blogs and want to try one.

how about a little lace?? Even though we sometimes have to wear an apron, we still want to look "soft"......

I did shirt aprons for the gds for Xmas 2012, and they LOVED them. So I have to do them again this year; last year's were in their favorite colors. This year I think I will find some far out psychedelic (SP?) LOL shirts and make em. They liked them cuz they fit their trim figures and were just there like some of the aprons are so they told me !LOL

Thanks for the idea of the something around the collar.. I left mine last year the color with nothing else on them.

Aren't you a cleaver one! I really like "thinking outside the box" when repurposing things. I agree the white apron needs a little more . . . please post the updated look

I'm with the bow tie! You can use the left over cuffs and collars for it.
