We have them also. They just cleaned out our garden no matter what we put up.

We have watched entire families come and go throughout the years and it really is enjoyable. The sad part of it is that the neighbors (closest one is 1/4 mile away) think they simply can't exist without venison so every year we lose a couple during hunting season - mostly visiting bucks who come in to court the does. If the hunters can't manage to harvest a buck we know that a couple of "our" girls will go missing also ........ that part I don't enjoy but understand that it's going to happen no matter what.

Very cool! I like that you have multiple generations come visit you. I have one that will eat out of my hand. She has been coming for years. The only offspring that I can really recognize is a buck. When he was little he ate out of my hand, too. Not any more. "My pretty", as I call her is nothing but a skeleton with skin hanging on her this year. So sad. But she is still as demanding as ever. They are truly a joy to watch year after year.

Had one across the road with twin fawns. They are so gentle looking. Could wake up to that every morning.
