Have low end shower with serious build up. Looking for product to clean it up. KYes I know I need lots of elbow grease.

This is my recipe for shower cleaner - 1 part regular Dawn to 2 parts white vinegar. Mix in spray bottle. Spray down inside of shower and let sit for 20 - 30 minutes. Spray shower and wipe off - I usually do this when I'm ready to take a shower. This stuff works great on soap scum and mold.

I also use the Dawn/vinegar mix. It works wonders. I sometimes leave overnight.

Dawn Powerwash is amazing for showers and tubs. I keep a bottle of it in each bathroom.

When we finish in the shower, we always wipe down all the walls and the floor. I have never had any buildup to remove. A minute or two every time the shower is used can save hours later.

We have done this as well with excellent results. I have Mr. Stitchnripper spray things down and wipe off on a regular basis just because . I have convinced him he has better upper body strength!!! It also keeps the glass shower from etching. Always looks nice.

We stopped using soap, we use bath wash, no soap scum. It makes the cleaning easier nothing to scrub just wipe away.

This is what I do except I use cleaning vinegar instead of regular cooking vinegar, it's much better for cleaning. Do not get it mixed up with your regular vinegar though! 6% acidity and works great on the floor of my acrylic tub. Which, by the way, if I had known how awful acrylic was, I NEVER would have allowed the contractor to remove my old porcelain tub and install this nasty acrylic thing.
