Kids are great. I was a principal and had an embroidered piece in my office "Kids are a great way to grow people". She not only helped another child, she gave you a memory you'll never forget. Good kid!

You certainly are raising her with a generous heart. Having just retired from teaching and seeing how many children appear to be so focused on self or receive everything they want, this was refreshing. Thanks for sharing. I also have tears - but of joy. :D

Children have such big hearts, if we allow them to grow that way. So many times we are so afraid of what might happen if they are spontaneous in that way that we prevent them from being the beautiful giving souls. You are doing a great job with your little one.

In the bible it say " and a child will lead them". Maybe we all need to be a little more like your DD. Hugs to all 3 of you. Keep up the good job.
