I am asking everyone on the board to send positive thoughts towards the people being disrupted by the wildfire burning near Boulder, Colorado. More than 3,500 residents have been evacuated with more to be evacuated tonight or tomorrow. It has burned 64 structures (mostly homes) and has burned over 7,300 acres and is at 0% containment at this time. (4:30 pm MT) Nine of the firefighters fighting this fire have lost their own homes. Some firefighters have gone more than 36 hours without sleep. The smoke can be seen for over 100 miles and is causing misery to those with upper respiratory issues. Soot is falling like snow miles away from this fire. It is a very bad situation. Thank you.

Grammanan how far are you from Boulder? I was watching the report on the fire this evening. I will be praying for those that are dealing with this disaster.

I am about 30 miles away and I can see and smell the smoke. It is all over the tv and it just breaks my heart. We are safe as long as I stay indoors. (I have asthma) Your thoughts and prayers are going to make such a difference.

When I heard the news tonight, I wondered how many people from the board could be affected. You and all those nearby will be in my prayers.

GrammaNan, You know my thoughts and prayers are going up for the residents and fire fighters. I was thinking about you when I heard about this, hoping that you and hubby are safe. Pray they can get this contained soon. Glad you posted this - I was going to call you tonight to make sure you were OK. {{{ HUGS }}}

Aw, I am sending Prayers. This always breaks my heart, all the homes lost, and wild life, and hopefully no people will be hurt!
