wow still way to hot for me but by hubbys choice we are leaving here the 27th for Az. I really prefer the cold but if we get back in March will still have time for snow hopefully as sometimes we get more snow in the spring than winter

I'm over here between Lake Havasu & Parker, Az. I'm a snowbird from Wash. state so I'm perfectly happy with these temps. I understand your missing snow though. I miss the beauty but not the mess it brings, the cold, or the icy roads.

I'm from WA state also and this is my first year being a snowbird (bought a Sun City condo this summer). I'm leaving Wed for a month with my family in WA and not looking forward to the cold that gets in your bones every day!! I'm really enjoying the high 70s, low 80s this time of year. Will dread it when I have to travel back the end of Mar to get back for tax time!

Lucky you! Snowing up here today and freezing cold. I was about to head out to the store when a weather alert came on my computer saying this snow will turn to freezing rain later today. Anyone want to swap houses for the winter :-)

HECK NO. My husb. was born & raised in northern Maine so I'm happy with the west coast. Guess they've had a lot of rain in Wash. lately & they're tired of it already. Yep, Ariz. works for me in the winter. Now summer in Ariz. is another issue since it reaches 120+ degrees in the summer. Then I burn up the highway getting back to beaut. green Wash. state.

We live in Dallas, and we have our air conditioner on right now. The trees are turning, but not as pretty as Southern Illinois. We lived in Indiana for years, and then Univ. of Okla. and traveling thru southern Ill. made my eyes just flutter.

Love everyone's perspective on winter weather. I am a Texan, but hubby is in the Air Force so we move around a lot. Right now we are in the DC metro area; however, the last two winters were spent in North Dakota with minus 40 degree weather for weeks on end. I don't care for that sort of cold weather and snow covered ground for 8 months out of the year. Give me a warm sunny Christmas day and I'm a happy girl.

Some of us from Minnesota will gladly trade MN for Arizona in January! I tell people if you move to MN you had better really like your winter coat because you wear it for at least 6 months, if not more. Then again when spring does come and we shed our layers of winter clothing we all look like we lost 20 pounds!

We reached record hi's here today. I don't think we will be lucky enough to have a white christmas, but I would at least like a damp one. Enjoy!
