I'm so glad everything is okay. I thought all elevators had to have an emergency stop button and an emergency alarm button I would certainly find out why this one did not have a stop button.

Know what is ironic? My husband repairs elevators and when I called him -he said he will tell the guy who works on this hotel to check it out...the doors are supposed to open when someone passes through - maybe the dog was too small or it didn't work right. I did push the emergency stop button, it just kept going to the bottom.
