Today I spent a fun day with my kids and grandkids at the Enchanted Forest outside of Salem, OR.

Left to right is grand-daughter Sarah, daughter-in-law Amanda, youngest son Mike, grandson Micheal, and my oldest son Sarahs daddy Ryan.

Can't believe it was 30 years since I took my kids there!! Some places just never lose their popularity!

We used to have an Enchanted Forest in Maryland, very popular in the 50s and 60s. I wonder if they were started by the same family.

This gentelmans name is Roger Toft. He started building this in the mid 1960's one bag of cement at a time according to the website. We love taking the little kids there. One of the great things is you can buy consessions for a family for less than McDonalds or even better pack a lunch and bring it with you to eat in the park at one of the many picnic tables.
