The beauty of making clothes is - use the fabrics you love and may not find in ready-to-wear.

I love it. Does it run true to sizes, with bought ones?

I made a 14 and I wear 10-12 in ready-to-wear. One good thing about this pattern, it gave the finished measurements on the pattern envelope. My bust was 40 and the size 14 had a finished 41.5" bust, so that was what I made. That was enough ease for me, since my bust is my largest feature.

The pattern comes out true to the finished measurements given, and it's got easy step-by-step directions.

Awesome job on your shirt. It really looks nice on you. And I love your arm chair. The design is so unique.

That chair is among a bunch of rosewood furniture my father bought 40 years ago when my parents lived and worked in Taipei. I inherited it from them. It's SO well made and the wood is beautiful! I have a couch like that chair. A few years ago I removed the tattered cushion covers and upholstery from all of it, and "Americanized" it with that new fabric. Glad you like it.
