My Fave is your kitchen cabinets. Lovely, what a cozy home you have. I know you are happy it is over. I hate those renovations, seems to last forever.

I love your cabinets! Your kitchen is delightful--makes me want to sit right down and have some coffee.

Thanks folks! We decided when I retired last year that this house will be our retirement place so we wanted to make it as pleasant as possible! Then when we started one thing followed another and another... and here we are 6 months later... almost done. Our renovator works full time at a hardware store so he could only work a couple of days each week, but he did everything except the cabinets. Plumbing, electrical, ceramic tiles, flooring, walls, plaster, painted, masonry... what a great man to have doing a renovation. He's worth twice what we paid him!

I am making his wife a quilt to thank her for giving him to us for such a long time! I'll post a pic when I get it done!
