Default Ugh it's that time of year again

Yup, bathing suit season is coming up! We've already booked our vacation to Myrtle Beach in June so it's time to go back to the gym! I've gained 10 lbs over the winter and I really don't want that lap over while wearing my bikini! I really hate the gym but it's a necessary evil I guess.

Good luck on your workout. I wish I were only 10 pounds from a bikini. In my case, it's 20 pounds, 20 years and a breast augmentation. Don't think I'll make it by vacation time! :P

I wouldn't even consider a bikini so you've got me beat already.

Me either. Never did like skimpy clothes.

Start walking. It's so much more fun than a gym, you can take an audio book and get your reading done, and you can enjoy the scenery. Last week it was so bad out, my husband and I walked laps to make 5 miles at the big Petit Ice rink running track in Milwaukee. It's a beautiful facility, but outside is more entertaining. (16 laps, ugh). I also take a two-day a week, one hour class called body blast. But that's all the 'gym' I can take. Can't wait to get the bike out...it's been rough weather in Wisconsin.

Your such a brave soul - my idea of a bikini is a tank top and a pair of cutoffs. I've been wearing the same style swim wear all my life.

First and last time I wore a bikini, I was 41. I worked hard to get to that point. I made it. I was finished. Then, "Thank You, Men of Pause"! LOL! Hormones out whack ever since and 50 lbs. heavier. Working on losing the weight but now working on whacking out a quilt. LOL!
