Thank you for all the great remarks, I am sooo excited. If he is half as great as the last two goldens I have had, he will be an awesome companion.
As for size, I only have 2 to choose from and will be going for the one that takes to me. I will be visiting them every week as this is a good friend now. She has been one of my students in my quilt class that went on for a few months and is due with a baby in May herself so she will have her hands full.
As for a quilty name, already thought of Patches but df turned it down because all one color and Stitch was my cat and had a great black lab named bandit. So have decided it is down to Cody or if turns out to be a darker color then it will be Rusty. Either way I will be happy to have him. Thanks again for all the comments and will post again in a couple of weeks.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I love my golden but I tell ya what... He sure is high maintenance..lol.. he is scared of storms and last week he tried to go over our privacy fence when a storm came up. he tore up our gutter and scratched the fence all to high heaven. he is getting older now and isnt able to scale the fence like he used to so he used his teeth to grab ahold of the gutter. it now looks like a sprinkler half way up the gutter. lol.. poor guy.

Congrats on your new puppy!!!

Maybe it's name should be a Quilty name? :)
Scraps would be a perfect quilty name. The puppies sure are cute. What a great trade you are making.
