Amen to all of those. You named all of my favorites, and I'm not even a Southern girl. I am partial to a good macaroni salad, too.

We live in Dallas and already eating tomatoes. I can't quit. I eat them until I get blisters in my mouth. "Good son" raises tomatoes and squash and okra and I'm getting my fill of them too. Yummmmm. We have our back yard fence planted with tomatoes. Our dirt is terrible. One batch is about all we'll get. No fall tomatoes at all.

Fresh corn on the cob, watermelon and home grown tomatoes. We have a farm close to us and they sell just picked corn every Sunday. It's the beat I ever ate.
