place mat sets, appliqued dish towels, coasters/mugrugs
penny rugs, aprons, fabric bowls/baskets
floor mats, bath mats, quilted stockings, table runners, table cloths, wall hangings,
lots and lots of options
the holiday craft magazines are hitting the store shelves- next time you are in the grocery store pick one up and browse through it- you will see tons of different things to make

Everyone I know love the fleece blankets, they are SO warm! Fleece hats and mittens and scarves?
Quilted Christmas decorations, like stockings?

ckcowl has some great ideas. I might add:
tortilla cozies (to warm tortillas in microwave)
potato cooking bags
appliance covers
fabric trimmed dish towels http://sew4home.com/projects/kitchen...rim-tea-towels
Morrocan pouf ~ http://www.re-nest.com/re-nest/how-t...an-pouf-091531
Pillows
Pillow cases

Love the Morrocan pouf idea...would go with any decor depending on your fabric choice. My Yorkie would love it!

I found a tute online for foot warmers. Like a pillowcase for feet. You fill them with rice and warm them in the microwave.

Make some quilted ornaments that they can cherish for keepsakes and decorate with every Christmas.
