One of my machines went crazy yesterday. It is a Janome Memory Craft 4000. As i was quilting along the LED screen popped up with "overloaded" on it and the machine stopped dead! This has never happened before and i cannot find any info on this anywhere. Any HELP??????

Hmm that doesn't sound good...maybe it needs some TLC by a certified tech? Might be time for a check up. Hope you get it fixed soon...good luck. crafty_linda_b

go to Janome+memory craft 4000+overload, says you have too much on the card? I don't have the machine, I just looked it up on the internet. Good luck

Mine will do that sometimes if the thread gets "wonky" (wraps around the needle or something). Have you tried the old "re-thread & re-seat the bobbin?"

Hope you find the prob quickly!

Yes we did that and now DH has it apart and cleaning it really good. It was full of lint in the bottom. Hopefully that will fix the trouble. Keep your fingers crossed :?:

I had trouble with the LED on my last Pfaff machine. The mother board went out on it...sounds similar to yours. You might want to have it checked out.

My vote is on the mother board also. Get her to the doctor!
