Need Ukranian translator
My husbands family was from the Ukraine. His family moved here in 1949. We received a letter we believe is from a distant relative of his but it is in Ukrainian. My in laws have passed away and there is no one who can read this letter. Is there anyone out there that can help us? I believe the letter is from a young girl. I could e-mail a copy to someone if they think that they can help us.

Google translate is pretty good, here we have many different cultures and most have a club or association. Check your local directory or online for your nearest Ukrainian Club/Association. Government departments often can put you in touch with translators, or even try your local university.

do get it translated but beware also that it may be fake. there are crooks everywhere. Even there. I get stuff from Keiv all the time. since my Ukranian girlfriend went there to see her long lost brother. I think she put my name on some mailing list at the time.

We cannot use Goggle translator since the letter is hand written in cursive. We do not even know what some of the letters are. We do believe the letter is real and not a scam, as we have received letters many years ago from the same location. We had a relative then that could read Ukrainian then, but they have since passed away. I will try the Jones location. Thanks so much for the advice.
