When I am hand quilting I regularly wind up with the needle under my thumb nail, but only about 1/4" at a time. Can't figure out how I am doing it.

Are you up to date on your tetanus shots? That sounds deep.

Sorry to hear you did that. Hopefully it will heal quickly. Keep an eye out for infection. Good luck finishing your project.

If you haven't had a tetanus shot in 2 years, you may want to get updated. You can get a really nasty infection from a needle. Hope you heal quickly...

I was using Joan's needle, a couple days before I broke one of those needles in half. This one also bent , like it is now curved. Those layers of material really get thick.
