Default Netflix?

I am probably the last person on the planet to be thinking about getting Netflix....will I be able to watch episodes on my iPad? I have a desktop computer in my sewing room, but it's old and mainly just used for EQ. We live in the country and have directv, but my sewing room does not have the wiring necessary, or a tv! Ha. What do you like to watch on Netflix while you sew?

Yes, I've watched Netflix on my iPad, many times. I prefer music, when I sew.

No...you are not the last person on the planet. We don't subscribe to Netflix and, at this point, I have no intention to do so. I can barely manage what is on regular TV let alone anything else! Good luck!

We don't do netflix, not because we are "against" it, or can't do it, but, there is plenty for us to watch on what our cable set up offers us, and don't need any more time in front of the TV. We watch in the evenings and I listen to talk radio on my iPhone when I sew. The shows that we don't watch together get watched at random times. All seems to work out for us.

I could give up TV in a heartbeat, but I love Netflix and watch it on my iPad all the time! Not an expensive luxury!

I was fed up with the raising costs of cable so got rid of it and now all I have is cable. Love it. No commercials!

Netflix is our main source for movies, and we love it, especially at $7.99/mo. We got tired of paying $60/mo for DirecTV, so we cancelled it years ago. We got a Roku box (one-time $45-ish purchase)for our bedroom TV, and Netflix streams right to it via wifi. I have a laptop computer here in my craft room, and watch Netflix directly on it. I love being able to watch what I want, when I want.

We also have Amazon Prime, mainly for the free 2-day shipping, but we get free movies on it as well. We usually end up watching Netflix though.

We choose not to have cable tv, we have an antenna on the roof. We have cable internet and get netflix through that. Since we got netflix 3-4 years ago I can count on one hand when we have watched broadcast tv. We watch netflix exclusively. There is always something good to watch and we usually binge watch a series from first to last episode. Love netflix!!

I have Amazon Prime and it has all the free streaming movies and tv shows included. And I can rent new releases to watch, which you can't do with Netflix. But I have Netflix too, because it's too cheap not to have it. I can watch Netflix or Amazon Prime on my Kindle Fire anyplace I have wireless connection. DH won't give up his digital cable tv sports channels so I had our internet bundled with that and got unlimited fast internet for $20 a month. Bought a router and booster so the house has wireless streaming to any device.
