I just took a new job and will be relocating to the Winston-Salem area in August. I am very excited. My DH will be following in time - our last child starts college in the fall and so we will have two in college in NY this year. We want to make sure that he transitions into college well before DH leaves.

He also has to transition his job and sell our house, so we may have a commuter marriage for a while but we're ok with that. I am looking forward to finding new quilting buddies, and hope that some of you may be among them!

And I probably need to find a new name for myself on here.

You will love the that area of NC. I taught at Rockingham CC for 4 years and just loved it there. You can go to the ocean or the mountains in no time at all.

Good luck,

Lanny

I sure hope everything works out well for all of you. The weather will be warmer for one thing. Will be lots of new adventures and changes to get use to.

NC is a great state. Going to W-S in 3 weekends for a scrapbooking convention. Great quilting state too. We have an annual symposium where 450 quilters attend.
