New Scam call spoofing

Ha! I got a new phone through a Google store and did my contacts the way i wanted. then i happened to try getting into my email with my phone. big mistake. had to log in of course and then, Google or (someone, I really don't know who) put names into my contact of quilters from around the world who were all in a swap back 20 years ago!! I never called any of these people but did have an Excel spreadsheet sent to me along with everyone else with names, etc.
how in the world did that do that? for awhile i thought it must have been from my computer but if i had Google email then, can't remember, that must have been how they had that info. If they don't want us knowing they can do things like that, why did that do it to my phone? sigh. more internet wonders of the world!! Now i never use my phone to get into emails. ever.

I had spam calls come from my own number. I have caller ID and there was my name on it. It was about my vehicle warranty.
I had a spam call from Medicare last week. The guy had a heavy accent and wanted my Medicare numbers. I told him this was a scam. He yelled and me that it was not a scam and that he wanted those numbers. I told him that Medicare does not yell at me and if he bothered me again, i would call the sheriff. He hung up on me! Good riddance!!
