Be sure to keep that letter with the car too. Someday she may be at that super auction on TV and the letter will make her all the more valuable. How cool!

I just tuned in. Will someone fill me in on this thread? When I was a young girl my family had a red Plymouth Valiant. Oh my, I loved that car.

I started athe thread a couple of days back when my hubby gifted a 1960 Valiant to me .... its an awesome little car ... look under me and look at her the orig thread has pics of her ...

hmm, doubt it. g-ma had a push button plymoth seneca. in the 60's we had an automatic valiant. in the 80's we had a 60's stick valiant.

lol. I'm 6'1". I could steer that car with left knee, shift from first into second with the right while balancing gas/clutch pedals with my feet while I was brushing my hair into a ponytail with my hands.

18 year olds are idiots. hee!

In my defence, it was summertime in the hills of middle texas with no airconditioning, the windows were down & my hair to my waist. Just HAD to be tied back.
