Been working on mine, too. Yes, it feels good, but would really feel good if it would just stay that way a little longer!

Only 3 days? I've been measuring, folding, sorting fabric for over a month and am starting to see that there is an end to my stash!

I am also getting some donation bags ready to go to my guilds for charity quilts. It feels good to know what I have and what I don't want. It's also nice that I've reached the point where I can part with some fabrics that I now realize I'll never use.

Every time I clean up my sewing area I just start a new quilt and within an hour or so it looks like I never cleaned at all.

Me too,
but I am working on folding all my fabrics and getting them in some kind of order. I do that for awhile and then sew or cut for awhile. It's getting there.

Every time I go in my sewing room thinking I'll clean and reorganize, I want to sew instead, so don't get very far! But a few days ago, I had to make room for a new Babylock Tiara (lucky...and grateful...me!) so in doing that I have made a bigger mess than ever! I'm working on it every day, but WOW, whatta lotta work! Just want to learn my new machine and work on those pesky UFOs . Gotta keep going......

Good for you! I love my sewing room just after I've cleaned. Funny how fast it gets messy again.

I have moved 4 times in the last 3 years. I have sorted through and gotten rid of things, some of which I really would have liked to keep, and I still have so much. It took me longer to pack up my sewing room than it did the kitchen!! I try to keep my sewing room organized, and always clean up after I finish a project. I don't work well in clutter, and like for everything to be in it's place. I do need to re-fold all my fabric ( I have wall to wall, and floor to ceiling shelves, on one 12 ft. wall) that will take me a while!

My room isn't too bad. The 90 Foot countertop seems to get messy. Time for me to sort into my scrappy bins again.
