Well I resisted the brownies yesterday but not today. They are cooling on the stove right now. Several of us at work have been eyeing a recipe for Buckeye brownies. I will take them to work tomorrow so I will only eat 1 or 2. It is too late now to eat them. It is 10:00 PM. I still need to make the peanut butter part of them. I am procrastinating because I need to pay my bills.
I am going to have to rearrange my lunch schedule at work tomorrow. My autistic kid (whose mom says he isn't) has been having trouble at recess so I will have to start supervising him at recess. I don't mind going outside at recess for a while. It is almost like a break most of the time. Also I guess I will get in more of my 10,000 steps. Now I will be going out for recess 2x a day.
Judy my Avatar was a year long group on here. 1 block a week. I love tiny pieces. They aren't that hard to work with paper piecing. I am making snowflakes right now. One of the officers challenges for my guild was to make a snowman, either quilted or not. I had a snowman quilt I had been wanting to make for several years. It is finished except for the snowflakes I decided i needed in my corners of the border. I will post it when I finish it. Since I was in charge of it I figured I should complete it. I am also in charge of the mystery quilt for guild and I am behind on it too. I need to hide in my sewing room for a few days.
Gota pay bills and finish the brownies.

What does everyone keep on hand (or in the refrigerator) as a snack/hunger suppressant in between meals? I need some new ideas. Carrot sticks and celery get boring after a while...LOL!!

Congrats on 10# of loss! The last 2 days was nice enough to walk to work...1.5 miles one direction. Today the weather wasn't perfect to walk home, but I didn't melt. It was a heavy mist, but not rain. This weekend my daughter is doing a marathon and the family will be cheering her on! I hope to bring the bike and do a bit of riding along side her. It's a smaller marathon...maybe 200 people.

I really like pepper strips dipped in humus. An apple with a little bit of almond butter. Skinny pop white cheddar popcorn, almonds (count them out), Greek yogurt. Subscribe to Hungry Girl. She sends an alsmot daily email with recipes and ideas. She often give recipes to make lower calorie versions of fatty dishes. Lots of good ideas. Also look on pinterest.
Anna, I love Cheetos too much to even have bags with them counted out. I occasionally buy one of the bags that is an individual serving for a treat. I do the same with Fritos. I could eat a whole bag.

I've not heard of Hungry Girl before. I'll check that out. I need some new/fresh ideas. Dieting for long periods of time gets very boring and uninteresting and then I "branch out" and eat forbidden foods which leads to weight gain instead of loss. Thanks for all the ideas.

Hungry Girl is a weight watcher. SHe give WW points in her recipes. She had a recipe a while ago for a Big Mac salad that I really like. I haven't made it in ages. Sometimes she is a little bit weird. She used to have a show on Food Network. I don;t think it is on any more.
I got my new car today. A jeep Cheroke. I finally got my DH to go out with me I had it narrowed down to 3 cars. He didn't like the Honda or the Buick.I got to drive it home today. Hopefully my DS will wax it for me tomorrow.
Not a good day eating. I had en egg sandwich for breakfast, with cheese. We had fried chicken strips for lunch and I ate a bag of Cheeto's. Chipotle for dinner and a brownie. I will be better tomorrow.

Just a quickie hello. I've been having internet problems. For some reason, my brand new laptop can't maintain a connection.

Hugs

I must say it sounds all delicious. My day went well for a change, lower calorie intake, but I did need one of my bad comfort foods, Sees butterscotch lollipop. This is not good for my glycemic index. We'll see what the scale and my blood sugar think of it tomorrow.
