I will be out of town but back just before the end of the month. The weight loss is very slow go. I am down but at this rate it will take me months to shed these last 10-15 lb. Steroids are my enemy and made me gain but hopefully you feel better so you can get more activities in.

Having a crazy weekend here. I received 3 FQ packs in the mail today but havent opened them . I will post tomorrow or Monday who I received them from. My house is a disaster area and my sons inlaws are coming to dinner tomorrow. They are here visiting from Japan. I have been sick all week. Just a cold that isn't that bad but I am so tired I haven't done a thing. I didn't get anything done last weekend either since I have had the cold since then.
I made Cincinnati style chili for dinner. For dessert I made a white velvet cake with raspberry filling and raspberry cream cheese icing. I don't even want to calculate the calories. Tons of butter and cream cheese.
Back on track on Monday.

I had to work the last 3 days so got a lot of "steps" in while doing that. I'm on my feet the whole time I'm there so that helps burn a lot of calories too. Trying to cut portion sizes and watch what I eat so I can get some of these pounds back off. Going to spend some time this coming week getting ready for my next quilting retreat in November. Lots of projects to pre-cut and kit up so I'll have plenty to keep me busy while I'm there.

I received FQ for 3 months from Podunk princess, Pam H and LeAnn. They are really pretty I need to behave myself.
My weekend guests from Japan were great. We had lots of fun and a good time talking. Their English is ok but my DIL had to translate some. They really liked the Cincinnati style. chili. There was leftover cake but I took it to work so now it is gone. I thought about going for a bike ride tonight but all I did was think about it. I need to find a way to get in some exercise. I am thinking about going to a spinning class. It is starting to get dark so early.

I am truly disgusted with myself. I don't seem to care what I eat - zilch self-restraint.

I've ridden my bike 103 miles in these hills this month. Makes me all the more hungry!

We got home from France this evening. My body doesn't know what time or even what day it is! My knee is giving me fits. Time to get it checked out.

I seem to be on the same "page" as Leann. Can't seem to keep it going every time I start being good. I've got to find something/someone to blame it on other than myself! Hopefully this next week will be better.

Today was a stressful day at school. The 2nd grade teacher said she thought the kids were making her extra nuts because she has PMS. I told her it had nothing to do with her PMS they were all acting nuts today. Talking, out of their seats, extra needy and my student was a pain. I had to remove him from the room several times. Right before lunch he was whining about something and was mad. He acted like he was going to shove the cart that had all of the computers etc to run the Smart board. He was charging towards it and I stopped him. In the cafeteria he screammed and cried for 20 minutes. I had passed him off at that point to the teacher who is supposed to be teaching him social skills. (she isn't teaching him anything) Michelle, his regular teacher is wonderful We talked about him at lunch and she said, you know he is going to try to hurt one of us some day. I said ,I know. Not sure what to do with him. She is going to meet with the principal about him.
I went for a bkie ride after work. The weather here is beautiful. It was 80 degrees today, at least 10 or 15 degrees above normal. I only got to ride 12 miles since it gets dark early. It is so hard to force myself to do it but I do feel so much better afterwards. Both knees have been stiff lately from lack of exercise.
